(BEDFORD) – Three people were arrested Tuesday afternoon after an officer received information that the driver was wanted on a warrant.
The officers stopped the vehicle at H and 16th streets.
The driver, 32-year-old David Erdmann, was arrested on an out of county warrant.
Police then spoke to the two passengers in the vehicle, 33-year-old Jennifer Ellett and 35-year-old Dennis Ashley.
Chief Terry Moore says Ellett gave officers a false name and date of birth before admitting her true identity.
Officers then determined Ellett was also wanted on a warrant and she was arrested.
While speaking to the occupants of the vehicle they could smell the burnt odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
“During a search of the vehicle and of all three individuals officers located methamphetamine and marijuana,” Chief Moore added. ” All three were taken into custody.”
Ashley is facing charges of possession of marijuana, possession of meth, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Ellett is facing charges of possession of marijuana, identity deception, and was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Erdmann was arrested on an outstanding warrant and a charge of possession of marijuana.
