(SEYMOUR) – At approximately 8:30 p.m. this evening, Seymour Police officers were involved in a shooting.
Officers shot a person near the Taco Bell located in the 1500 block of East Tipton Street.
This is an active crime scene and officials are asking the public to avoid the area.
No injuries to police officers have been reported.
Police say there is not a threat to the public at this time.
Indiana State Police will take over the investigation.
