(INDIANAPOLIS) – Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb says members of the Indiana National Guard are set to deploy to long-term care facilities across the state.
The plan is part of the statewide response to what health officials are calling a troubling increase in coronavirus case numbers and positivity rates.
The National Guard is set to deploy on November 2nd.
Last week, Holcomb said more than 55-percent of coronavirus deaths are attributed to long-term care facilities.
