(BEDFORD) – The North Lawrence Community School board adopted a $52.6 million budget during their meeting Thursday night.
School board members also adopted the budget replacement plan, capital projects plan, resolution for budget adjustments, transfers of funds from education to operation funds, and approved the rainy day fund transfer resolutions.
The bus replacement plan calls for the replacement of four buses over the next four years. The average cost for the replacement of the buses combined is $400,000 a year.
The capital projects plan includes some roof repairs, HVAC repairs, and flooring projects at the schools.
