(BEDFORD) – The 2020 Virtual Ugly Duck Derby was a success.
The fundraiser is one of the largest for the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence County. The Club provides many services for the youth of Lawrence County.
The community stepped up to the plate in making the 2020 Virtual Ugly Duck Derby possibly one of the largest fundraising events raised in Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County history. The final totals will be calculated on Monday.
The virtual duck derby was held on Facebook, and although no one was able to watch the ducks go down the slide or watch the belly buster participants dive into the John Lowery Pool, it was still considered an exciting event.
“It amazes me the amount of support we get in our county to support our youth,” said Frank Decker, Director of the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County.
The Boys & Girls Club would like to thank all the sponsors and supporters of the youth in Lawrence County.
