Two People Facing Marijuana Charges After Traffic Stop

(BEDFORD) – Two people are now facing marijuana charges after the vehicle they were in was stopped after the driver failed to dim his headlights to on-coming traffic.

A Bedford Police officer stopped a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Bradley Borrowman, of Bloomington, Monday evening.

During a conversation with Borrowman, the officer learned Borrowman did not have a valid driver’s license.

Borrowman’s front seat passenger was 20-year-old Ryan Kimmel, of Bedford.

“While speaking with officers, paraphernalia and marijuana was located on both subjects,” said Chief Terry Moore.

Both Borrowman and Kimmel were issued summons to appear in court and were released.

Borrowman is facing charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a vehicle while never obtaining a license second offense. He was also issued a citation for failure to dim headlights.

Kimmel is facing a charge of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
