INtax Functionality Moving To INTIME – September 8

(INDIANAPOLIS) – The Department of Revenue’s new e-services portal, INTIME, will support additional tax types beginning September 8.

All existing customers who currently file business taxes via INtax, should begin migrating their accounts to INTIME on or after September 8.

Moving to INTIME will support continued management of tax accounts online and introduce new services. Existing INtax users will be able to create an INTIME username and password for their business and get started managing their accounts.

Why should I make the switch?

While INtax will remain accessible from Sept. 8 – Dec. 31, 2020 to allow customers time to migrate, functionality will be reduced, only allowing customers to file and pay for current filing periods.

INtax users are highly encouraged to make the switch to INTIME as early as possible after Rollout 2 to begin taking advantage of all the new functionalities INTIME offers including:

  • Manage, file and pay tax obligations.
  • Easy-to-use, direct messaging with DOR representatives.
  • Accessibility of filing history for past three calendar years.
  • Expanded electronic communication functionality.
  • Ability to view all notices online.

Important Note: Business customers will not be able to register until September 8. Attempting to register now may complicate the registration process when available. Please do not attempt to register early.

Their team is here to help

To help customers transition to INTIME, DOR has created a variety of customer service resources. Not only do we have a dedicated phone line for INTIME questions, we are also creating multiple user guides and video tutorials to walk customers through the registration and navigation processes.

An INTIME User Guide is available to help users navigate through the new system and help troubleshoot any issues they may encounter.

In addition, two separate guides, one for current INtax users and one for practitioners have been created—the Migration Quick Start Guides—to help with the INTIME transition.Other guides were also created for specific audiences such as bulk filers, motorsports and county officials.

All guides and video tutorials will be available online at ProjectNextDOR.dor.in.gov on September 8 and will be updated as needed by the project team.

Dedicated Customer Service Representatives will be available to help with any INTIME questions. Users are encouraged to call 317-232-2240 and select option “1” for all questions regarding INTIME.

More information is coming to help you prepare for September 8.

Next week, DOR will be providing specific reminders as we quickly approach the September 8 launch of Project NextDOR’s second rollout.
