Home And Garden Stroll To Honor Father Rick Eldred

(BEDFORD) – This weekend the community will have a way to honor Father Rick Eldred and the two missions that he cared deeply about; the Men’s Warming Shelter and Becky’s Place.

The community was not able to say goodbye and honor Father Rick Eldred due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Father Rick passed away in March of this year, however due to the restrictions regarding public gatherings a funeral mass was not possible.

Father Rick lived his life based on one of his favorite scriptures, Matthew 25:40.

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

This weekend the community can honor Honor Father Rick by donating to his two favorite missions; the Men’s Warming Shelter and Becky’s Place.

Everyone is invited to tour the home and garden of Linda Fitzpatrick located at 1811 H Street on Saturday, July 11, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Sunday, July 12, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. There is no cost to attend, but donations would be greatly appreciated and will be used to fund Father Rick’s two favorite charities.

Light refreshments will be served, along with door prizes. Masks are encouraged.
