(SEYMOUR) – A 30-year-old man was arrested this morning by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies for murder.
Police arrested 30-year-old Tobias E. Au, of Hope.
According to the Sheriff Department logs, at 5:39 a.m. today Au called dispatchers to report he had shot a man who was violating a protective order at an apartment in the 2700 block of Bent Tree Lane in Seymour.
Jackson County deputies responded and found a man dead. His name has not been released.
Au and a witness to the shooting were both interviewed and Au was arrested.
The incident remains under investigation and more information will be released when it becomes available.
