Wonderlab Museum Offers Virtual Programs For Families

(BLOOMINGTON) — Wonderlab Museum in Bloomington is offered a virtual science class Tuesday afternoon, hoping to bring families together for some fun.

Families remain at home for school and work due to COVID-19, and the museum wants to help in the learning process by providing free virtual programs through Zoom and Facebook Live.

The programs feature families fun experiments to do with household items and education about animals.

Director of Museum Experience Ella Heckman

“Fun science content that can be done at home,” said Director of Museum Experience Ella Heckman. “We have a different topic every day at 3 o’clock and we have a list of supplies. So they can either do the activity right along with us during the program, or they can try it out afterward and let us know how it went.”

If you want to join in the virtual learning, Wonderlab Museum will have more programs through the remainder of the week.
