(MITCHELL) – The 2020 Galactic Gathering has been canceled because of COVID-19.
The event was scheduled to take place in July.
Officials will begin planning for the 2021 event.
The proceeds for this event go to Virgil I. Grissom Memorial, Inc. which is dedicated to restore and preserve the legacy of Astronaut Gus Grissom.
Those who paid with a credit card will have their money refunded back on their cards. Those that paid on Eventbrite will be refunded by Grissom Inc.
