(SPRINGVILLE) – A Springville man was arrested Monday morning after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to a home in the 700 block of State Road 54 on Friday, March 21 after a report of a domestic fight.
“When officers arrived they found a female adult victim had been struck in the face, head and slammed against the wall, pushed over a recliner and was choked, ” says Chief Deputy Aaron Shoults. “The woman had visible marks on her neck and chest.”
Police say 40-year-old David Webb fled the residence before deputies arrived.
A warrant was issued for his arrest on Tuesday, Webb was arrested at 12:45 p.m. on charges of strangulation, domestic battery, and interfering with reporting a crime.
