Two Arrested on Meth Charges

(BEDFORD) – Bedford Police arrested two people following a report of a possible domestic fight and drug activity at Eastside Car Wash on 16th Street Sunday afternoon.

“When police arrived they found a vehicle parked behind the car wash with two people inside,” says Chief Terry Moore.

Dennis Potter

27-year-old Dennis Potter, of 2684 US 50 East and 27-year-old Hali Reynolds, of 2905 Ted Jones Dr., told police they had been arguing but there was nothing physical.

“They also denied any drug activity and declined consent to search the vehicle,” said Chief Moore. ” K-9 Maximus arrived and gave a positive alert on the exterior of the vehicle.”

While searching the vehicle officers located two small baggies containing what later tested positive for meth.

Both Potter and Reynolds were arrested on a charge of possession of meth.
