(ORLEANS) – Entries are now being accepted for the 2020 Orleans Dogwood Pageants.
Ashley Knight is once again chairing the now combined Dogwood Pageants with Eileen Gilbert as her co-chair.
This year both the Little Miss and Queen crowning ceremonies will take place on April 18th at 5 p.m. at Orleans Elementary School.
The event is open to all girls ages 5 through seniors in high school from the Orleans community.
Knight announced that the deadline for the contestants 5 years of age through 6th grade will be March 27th. Entry forms for the Jr. Miss contest grades 7th and 8th and Queen, freshman through seniors are due April 6th
Entry forms are available and may be submitted from the Dogwood Festival website at www.orleansdogwoodfestival.com
Forms may also be obtained from both the Orleans Grade and High School principal’s office.
As has become a tradition the 2020 “Mr. Dogwood” will also be named during the intermission of the queen crowning ceremonies.
