
(STATEHOUSE) – Paid internships and work-based opportunities help young Hoosiers develop skills for the workforce and expose them to post-graduate jobs.
However, some students may turn down these experiences, as their pay could affect their families’ eligibility for certain benefits, like SNAP or TANF.
