(BLOOMINGTON) – The Indiana University Board of Trustees approved on-campus residence hall rates for the 2020-21 academic year.
The rate for standard room and board at IU Bloomington will increase 3.46 percent, or $375, during the 2019-20 academic year. The Bloomington campus’s residence hall rates will increase by 3.8 percent overall.
The annual cost for a standard room, which is a double-occupancy room in a mid-amenity residence hall – Eigenmann, Read and Teter – with air conditioning, will be $7,505, an increase of $275 above the current academic year.
Residence hall rates increased at other IU campuses:
- IUPUI: from 1.7 to 4.5 percent.
- IU South Bend: from 0.5 to 1 percent.
- IU Southeast: from 1.96 to 2.05 percent.
