(BEDFORD) – A Bedford woman was arrested after officers were requested to the 1500 block of J Street after a report of possible drug activity.
When police arrived at 9:21 p.m. the caller said he watched two females exchange money with another female and then walk back to a parked vehicle.
Officers located the vehicle and spoke to the two females and were given consent to search their vehicle. Police found no drugs.
Bedford Police Chief Terry Moore says officers then located the other female, 28-year-old Makina Inman. She gave officers consent to search her purse. In it, officers found meth, drug paraphernalia, and marijuana.
Inman was arrested on charges of possession of meth, marijuana, obstruction of justice and drug paraphernalia.
“Officers were told that Inman had walked into a bathroom. In the restroom, officer found five pills inside the toilet,’ said Chief Moore.
