(BEDFORD) – A Bedford woman and teen were arrested after police were called to the Super 8 Motel on Tuesday night after a report of a male having a seizure.
When police arrived at 7:07 p.m. they found a 15-year-old male juvenile and 32-year-old Sarah Brazell near the stairway.
Officers asked Ms. Brazzel for information on the juvenile and officers determined she lied to police. One of those attending to the teen recognized the juvenile as a runaway from Terre Haute. Police were able to confirm the teen was a runway. The male once separated from Brazzel, admitted he was the teen.
Police asked Brazzel again who the teen was and again she lied and gave police a false name.
Both were arrested.
Brazzel is facing charges of false information and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The teen was released to officers of the Terre Haute Police Department.
