Indiana University Suspends Travel to China for Students, Faculty and Staff

(BLOOMINGTON) – Indiana University has suspended travel to China for all students, faculty, and staff as the World Health Organization declared the coronavirus outbreak a global health emergency.

The restrictions are effective immediately.

According to a public safety advisory issued by the university, the restrictions were implemented to align with the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the US State Department.

Officials say there is no coronavirus on campus, officials say the largest health concern on campus is influenza.
