(JEFFERSON CO.) – Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews plan to close two sections of State Road 56 and two county roads next week west of Hanover in Jefferson County to complete culvert replacement work.
Each closure is planned for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Monday, January 27: Carmel Road closed, south of State Road 56
- Tuesday, January 28: State Road 56 closed between Getty Road and County Road 1000 W. (MM 129.6)
- Wednesday, January 29: State Road 56 closed between County Road 1400 W. and County Road 1233 W. (MM 126.6)
- Thursday, January 30: County Road 1066 W. closed, north of State Road 56
Access to homes within each closure will be maintained. The official state detour for the closures is S.R. 256. Schedules are subject to change and may be revised due to inclement weather.
