Paoli Police Officer Resigns, Chief Requests ISP Investigation

(PAOLI) – Paoli Police Chief Randall Sanders asked Indiana State Police to investigate a former officer’s conduct.

Paoli Police Sgt. Tyler Phillips submitted his letter of resignation on Jan. 10th effective immediately.

Four days later, Chief Sanders requested the Indiana State Police to conduct an investigation into Phillips’ conduct as an officer while employed for the department.

According to ISP Sgt. David Henderson, that request must first be approved by the Indiana State Police superintendent. Once approved, the Jasper ISP post will be alerted and detectives will begin their investigation.
