(LINTON) – 44 teams competed at the Vex IQ Challenge Robotics Competition at Linton-Stockton High School on Saturday.
Students in second through eighth-grade built a robot using vex, which are similar to Legos. They then competed with their robots on a game board.

Students are gaining skills beyond the classroom – skills in science, technology, engineering, and math through building robots, said Linton-Stockton STEM teacher Tiffany Todd.

Teams that passed the qualification rounds will move on to the state competition at Lucas Oil Stadium next month.
