Woman Arrested After Stealing from Walmart

(BEDFORD) – Officers arrested a Bedford woman on Monday night after she was caught stealing items from Walmart by a loss prevention employee.

A loss prevention employee witnessed 24-year-old Megan Owen pay for only a few of her items at the self-check register.

“She disregarded paying for more than $500 worth of merchandise,” says Chief Terry Moore. “The employee then stopped Megan after she left the checkout lanes and waited for an officer to arrive.”
