Fort Wayne Troopers Recognized for Years of Service

(FORT WAYNE) – Lieutenant Corey Culler, Commander of the Fort Wayne Post, recently presented service awards to several Fort Wayne area troopers as designated by Indiana State Police Superintendent Douglas G. Carter. State Troopers are routinely recognized for having served the citizens of Indiana with every five years of honorable service.

Master Trooper Todd Reed –  (20 years of service)

M/Trooper Reed is currently assigned to the Fort Wayne District’s All Crimes Policing (ACP) squad, focusing on highway criminal interdiction primarily in Whitley and Allen Counties. Reed’s previous assignments have included serving as a District Squad Leader, Marijuana Eradication Program, Meth Suppression Unit, and Tactical Intervention Platoon (riot control). Reed is a 1991 graduate of Columbia City high school, and a retired United States Army veteran, having honorably served his country as a military police officer for 20 years.

Sergeant Shaun Armes – (15 years of service)

Sergeant Armes is currently assigned as a District Squad Leader, supervising Fort Wayne Troopers assigned to Adams, Blackford, Jay, and Wells Counties. Armes previous assignments included an 8 year tenure with the ISP North SWAT Team, and road patrol duties in Allen, Adams, and Wells Counties. Prior to coming to the Fort Wayne Post, Armes was first assigned out of the recruit academy to the Red Key Post. Armes is a 1996 graduate of Bellmont High School, a 2010 graduate of Wesleyan University (A.S. Business), and a 2017 graduate of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) Leadership Academy.

Master Trooper Kody Buell – (15 years of service)

M/Trooper Buell currently has a patrol assignment in the Fort Wayne District’s north zone, patrolling Steuben and LaGrange Counties. His previous assignments included serving as a District Duty Officer at the Fort Wayne Post from 2014-2019, and a member of the Indiana State Police Motorcycle Patrol from 2007-2014. Buell also currently serves as one of the district’s Field Training Officers, developing and supervising probationary Trooper’s as they begin their career after the ISP Recruit Academy. Buell is a 2000 graduate of Angola High School, and a 2003 graduate of Tri-State University (A.S. Criminal Justice), and a 2011 graduate of Trine University (B.S. Criminal Justice).

Master Trooper Brian Kreger – (15 years of service)

M/Trooper Kreger is currently assigned patrol duties in the Fort Wayne District’s north zone, patrolling Noble and LaGrange Counties since 2007. Prior to being assigned to the Fort Wayne Post, Kreger was assigned to the ISP Toll Road Post where he served from 2004-2007. Additional previous assignments include the Meth Suppression Unit and the Tactical Intervention Platoon. Prior to serving as a State Trooper, Kreger worked for the Albion Police Department and the Kendallville Police Department. He is a 1997 graduate of Central Noble High School and a 1999 graduate of ITT Technical Institute.

Master Trooper Christopher Levitt – (15 years of service)

M/Trooper Levitt is currently assigned to road patrol duties, working primarily in northern Allen, DeKalb, and Noble counties. Along with his patrol assignment, Levitt has been assigned to the Tactical Intervention Platoon for over 11 years. Prior to being assigned to the Fort Wayne Post, Levitt was assigned to the Toll Road Post. He is a 1990 graduate of Northrop High School and a United States Army veteran.

Trooper Jeffrey Goehring – (5 years of service)

Trooper Goehring is currently assigned road patrol duties in Allen County. In addition to his road patrol assignment, he is a 5 year member of the Tactical Intervention Platoon, and has committed a great deal of time to the Fort Wayne Boys & Girls Club with the Blue Bucket Brigade. Prior to becoming a State Trooper, Goehring served the Indiana State Police as a police radio dispatcher at the Fort Wayne Post. He is a 2007 graduate of Elmhurst High School.

Trooper Michael Hollandsworth – (5 years of service)

Trooper Hollandsworth is presently assigned to the Fort Wayne Gang & Violent Crimes Task Force. He also serves as a Control Tactics Instructor, and is a certified Drug Recognition Expert (DRE). Prior to being assigned to the Fort Wayne Post, Hollandsworth was assigned to the Toll Road Post. He is a 1995 graduate of Snider High School, a 2011 graduate of Indiana Tech (B.S. Business Administration), and previously served with the Capitol Police Section from 2012-2014.

Trooper Anthony Repass – (5 years of service) 

Trooper Repass is currently assigned road patrol duties in Adams, Blackford, Jay, and Wells Counties. Along with his patrol assignment, Repass also serves as a Control Tactics instructor, Field Training Officer, and is a member of the Tactical Intervention Platoon. He is a 2010 graduate of Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis, and honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 2010-2014.
