Rescue Robin – Donate to White River Humane Society

(BEDFORD) – Five Years ago Robin Compton created Rescue Robin – each year Compton spent a weekend inside a kennel outside of Tractor Supply with his two dogs Mischka and Rexie to raise money for the White River Humane Society.

Last year he raised more than $5,000 in less than 17 hours to help the homeless animals of Lawrence County. Compton and his dogs stayed in a kennel provided by Tractor Supply in their parking lot.

This year Compton is going bigger – his goal is to raise $10,000 or spend 10 days living outside in Indiana’s unpredictable weather with his two dogs. He has been out in the cold since Saturday night.

This year Compton and his canine companions will begin their adventure in a trailer provided by Roots RV Sales. That way he can move from location to location. He kicked off the event by being in the Bedford Christmas Parade Saturday.
