(BEDFORD) – During the holiday season, The Salvation Army depends on the community’s generosity.
The “Red Kettle Bell Ringers” bring attention to the need for donations.
“We are reaching out to individuals, businesses, organizations. We are in need of volunteers to Ring the Bells for The Salvation Army,” says Kayley Russell, Ministry Service Representative of Lawrence County.
Bell ringers are needed beginning Nov. 29th thru Dec. 23rd from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Volunteers usually donate their time in 2-hour increments.
Remember that all donations collected stay in Lawrence County.
Those interested in volunteering can email Jim McCreery at firstname.lastname@example.org or text the Salvation Army at 812-583-1231 with their names and contact information and Kayley will get back with you.
