Indiana Department of Education Announces Arlington Heights Elementary 2018-2019 Title I Distinguished Schools

(BLOOMINGTON) – The Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) today announced the recipients of the 2018-2019 Title I Distinguished Schools Award. Arlington Heights Elementary School in Monroe County Community School Corporation received the award for Closing the Achievement Gap and William Henry Burkhart Elementary School in Perry Township Schools received the award for Exceptional Student Performance.

IDOE selected Arlington Heights Elementary and William Henry Burkhart Elementary after a rigorous data review and interview process to identify successful, high-poverty schools with varied student populations and locations.
