Driver Uninjured after Vehicle Goes into Pond

(JACKSON CO) – According to Jackson County Sheriff Rick Meyer, Deputies Brad Barker, Zach Elliott, and Reserve Officer Greg Murphy responded to the 4000 block of County Road 950 East after a report of a vehicle in a pond.

Officials say that the driver missed the 90-degree turn and went into the pond. The driver was able to get out of the vehicle and wasn’t injured during the incident.

Dive members Jesse Hutchinson and JL McElfresh assisted in getting the vehicle out of the water.
