  • 10:55 a.m. Property damage accident with a vehicle leaving the scene. 28-year-old William Neighbors, of Springville, was cited for leaving the scene of an accident, no financial responsibility, no driver’s license in possession
  • 8:15 a.m. Property damage accident at C and 17th streets
  • 7:43 a.m. Property damage accident at John Williams Boulevard and Becky Skillman Way

  • 6:43 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and 29th Street. The driver was given a courtesy ride to Mitchell
  • 7:04 a.m. Medical emergency at Persimmon Park Apartments. The person was taken to the hospital
  • 7:20 a.m. Report of a truck stuck on a hill at Judha and North Pike roads
  • 7:49 a.m. Report of a Rav 4 stuck on a hill in the middle of the road on Sand Pit Road HWY CLR 8:08 a.m. Report of an unwanted male at a home in the first block of Windy Lane. The caller wants the male removed from the property. The male was taken to IU Health Hospital for a head injury and mental health evaluation. No charges were filed the caller just wanted him removed from the property
  • 8:46 a.m. Report of smoke coming from behind the guy in the 12280 block of Tunnelton Road. Shawswick Volunteer Fire Department responded. There was no fire
  • 9:06 a.m. Request for animal control to the 1450 block of Wesley Chapel Road for a mommy cat and three kittens on the caller’s porch
  • 9:07 a.m. Report of heavy smoke in the 2560 block fo Sieboldt Quarry Road. Perry Volunteer Fire Department responded and found no smoke or fire
  • 9:10 a.m. Lift asist in the 510 block of Lemon Quarry Road
  • 9:16 a.m. Report of a semi stuck in the middle of the roadway on East Oolitic Road on the hill
  • 9:37 a.m. 911 call in the 2900 block of Ted Jones Drive. Bedford Police were alerted
  • 9:41 a.m. Medical emergency in the 90 block of East Side Lane. A 50-year-old was having trouble breathing
  • 9:45 a.m. Medical emergency at Steele’s Barber Shop on 15th Street. A male has fallen in the parking lot and suffered a head laceration. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded
  • 10:05 a.m. Report of a vehicle stuck in the middle of the road on Washboard Road near State Road 37
  • 10:08 a.m. A stolen vehicle was recovered in the 2900 block of Ted Jones Drive. Bedford Police located the vehicle
  • 10:44 a.m. Medical emergency in the 6120 block of State Road 60.
  • 11:01 a.m. Report of a male with several medications at the courthouse. The male is with his mother and these are prescribed medications
  • 12:02 p.m. Report of a truck stuck in the roadway since 9 p.m. last night on Wells Lane
  • 12:11 p.m. Request for animal control to the 440 block of Meadows Church Road for a stray cat
  • 12:47 p.m. 911 call from McDonald’s in Bedford. The caller says someone hit his vehicle in the drive-thru and then drove off
  • 1 p.m. Traffic stop at Yockey Road, east of the railroad tracks
  • 1:05 p.m. 911 call reporting two small children are playing next to the roadway on Lincoln Avenue
  • 1:23 p.m. Medical emergency at Spring Mill Inn. A 66-year-old fell and injured their hip
  • 1:47 p.m. Child custody dispute. The caller says the child’s mother picked her up at the school on Friday and now she will not bring her back home. The child is in the 10 block of Old Vincennes Road. Police say the child had permission to pick up the child.
  • 2:07 p.m. Request for animal control in the 3940 block of Pleasant Run Road for two kittens that have been dumped
  • 2:08 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 620 block of Industrial Drive
  • 1:31 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 1580 block of Washboard Road on an elderly man and his mentally challenged brother
  • 2:48 p.m. Request for animal control to the 370 block of Poplar Trail. The neighbor’s horses were out again. The owner was cited for livestock running at large
  • 2:58 p.m. Medical emergency in the 800 block of H Street. An elderly person was ill
  • 3:06 p.m. A woman was on station about a child custody dispute
  • 3:54 p.m. 911 call from McDonald’s in Mitchell. There was no answer on the return call
  • 4:10 p.m. Request for animal control to the 150 block of Burkwood Hills Lane for a stray bird dog. The dog’s owner was located
  • 4:28 p.m. A male in the 1500 block of Old State Road 60 reported he is being harassed by a female
  • 4:29 p.m. Report of a medical emergency in the 1300 block of K Street. A person was having trouble breathing
  • 4:35 p.m. Report of an alarm sounding at Crossroads Church. It was a false alarm
  • 4:45 p.m. Controlled fire in the 2640 block of Vinegar Hill Road
  • 5:49 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in older Chevrolet trucks, one purple, and one tan and a black Jeep doing burnouts at the graveyard in the 12250 block of Tuennleton Road
  • 6:35 p.m. Traffic stop at Fifth and East Main streets in Mitchell
  • 6:39 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 110 block of West Warren Street
  • 6:45 p.m. Medical emergency in the 230 block of Rawlins Mill Road. A person was unconscious
  • 7:12 p.m. Officers were out with a vehicle at South 7th and Curry streets
  • 7:15 p.m. A woman bought a house in the 720 block of Crawford Street in Mitchell in a Sheriff’s Sale and found what she believes is drugs
  • 7:36 p.m. Repossession in the 220 block of Hoosier Avenue in Oolitic
  • 7:39 p.m. Report of two suspicious vehicles in the 4330 block of Leesville Road. The caller states the people in the vehicles came in the store causing problems and cussing people out. When police arrived there was no one in the parking lot and the store was closed
  • 7:59 p.m. Report of a vehicle stuck on a hill in the 1860 block of Leatherwood Road
  • 8:22 p.m. Officers were out with a vehicle at North Sixth and West Main streets
  • 9:43 p.m. Report of a juvenile problem in the 700 block of Lafayette Avenue in Oolitic. A 15-year-old male was out of control and has kicked his mother. Police spoke to the boy and both parents
  • 9:55 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 5000 block of State Road 37 at Crossroads Church. The building is secure
  • 10:05 p.m. Report of a car parked in the roadway in the 640 block of West Main Street
  • 10:18 p.m. Officers were out with a semi face north in the southbound lane. No location was listed on the log

Incidents – Nov. 13

  • 1:47 a.m. Report of a suicidal person in the 410 block of North Jackson Road. A 14-year-old female attempted suicide by knife
  • 3:46 a.m. Medical emergency in the 300 block of Clark Ferry Road. A male was suffering a possible heart attack and may not be breathing. The dispatcher instructed them on how to do CPR
