“This year’s event will focus on what “Extension Does” in our community and how we might partner in making a larger impact on our residents’ lives,” says Lesley Lodmell, County Extension Director.

Attendees will have an opportunity to learn about the different program areas within Extension which include 4-H and Youth Development, Agriculture and Natural Resources, Health and Human Sciences, Nutrition Education, and Community Wellness.

“We will have a brief presentation and panel during lunch, where you will hear from each of our Extension Educators and Nutrition Education Program Staff,” Lodmell added.

Those attending are encouraged and network and share your thoughts and ideas with staff members.

“A lot has changed at Purdue Extension in the past few years,” Lodmell added. “This event is your chance to come find out what we are doing in the community and connect. We want to know how we can help local residents and how we can collaborate with local organizations to make Lawrence County stronger.”
