(BEDFORD) – Bedford Police Department is investigating the death of a 29-year-old woman who was found unresponsive at a home in the 1600 block of E Street, Tuesday morning.
At 6:20 a.m. Bedford Police dispatch received a 911 call requesting medical attention for the female.
Officers and IU Health Ambulance responded to the scene, but could not revive the woman and she was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity has not been released.
An autopsy was performed by Dr. James Jacobi this afternoon, and no immediate cause of death could be determined. Toxicology results are pending and should be returned in six to eight weeks.
