Orleans Police and Fire Departments Hosting Family Fun Event

(ORLEANS) – Come out and join members of the Orleans Police and Orleans Municipal Fire Departments on Friday, Oct. 11 for a special night of fun, games, and food.

The event will be held downtown on the historic town square.

Also invited to participate is the Orange County Sheriff’s Department and the IU Health-Paoli Ambulance Service.

Jefferson Street between Maple (S.R. 37) and Second Street along with the one-way in front of the bandstand (Veterans Way) will be closed to traffic that evening between the hours of 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.

The festivities get underway at 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Bring the whole family to meet and interact with local public safety professionals. 

Orleans Police officers and Orleans firefighters will be grilling out hamburgers and hotdogs along with chips and drinks provided by Orleans Town officials.

The Sheriff’s Department will have their Peddle Cart Course set up with Drunk Goggles to simulate driving under the influence. 

Police vehicles, fire engines, and an ambulance will be on display.

Be sure to also attend and enjoy all the planned events at the Annual Fall Fun Fest in the Park event set for Saturday, October 12th in historic Congress Square.
