
(SEYMOUR) – Two men were arrested after Seymour Police say they attacked and robbed a man in an alley on East Sixth Street in Seymour.

Police arrested 35-year-old Stephen Stidam, of Freetown, and 30-year-old Jeremiah Oliger, of Seymour, on charges of robbery on Wednesday.

According to police, the 26-year-old male victim told police the two men approached him from behind and struck him on the head and then punched him several times before taking his wallet.
The man told police Oliger was one of the men that attacked him.
The injured man was transported to Schneck Medical Center for treatment and released.
Police found Oliger near his residence on North Avenue and Stidam was with him. Both men were arrested and are being held in the Jackson County Jail without bond. Both men are facing additional charges.
