Taco Bell Employee Arrested After Stealing More Than $2,000

(BLOOMINGTON) – Bloomington Police arrested a Taco Bell employee after she allegedly stole more than $2,000 from the business over a two and a half month period.

The district manager claims 41-year-old Jessica Robbins was making false returns on items and pocketing the money. Police say security footage captured Robbins pulling money from the cash register and putting it into her pockets 18 different times between June 26 and Sept. 12

Robbins was arrested on a charge of theft, a Level 6 felony. She is being held in the Monroe County Jail on a $2,000 surety or $500 cash bond. She was scheduled to appear in Monroe Circuit Court 9 this afternoon for her initial hearing.
