(HELTONVILLE) – A mobile home was destroyed by fire Tuesday night on Raintree Lane, just off State Road 58 East in Heltonville.
Firefighters from Pleasant Run and Shawswick Volunteer Fire Departments battled the blaze reported at 11:30 p.m.
The owner, who is disabled, was the only one living in the mobile home. He attempted to put out the fire, but it quickly spread. He was able to escape uninjured.
He had no insurance on the home. The American Red Cross responded to assist.
