Patoka Lake Looking for Volunteers

(PATOKA LAKE) – Patoka Lake is looking for volunteers with diverse backgrounds to help with various opportunities around the property.

Some annual needs are photographers, special event assistants, carpenters, painters, and campground hosts, just to name a few.

If you have a little extra time on your hands or are looking for a way to give back, officials want to meet you.

Patoka Lake Raptor Program

Come to the Nature Center on Saturday, September 28 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. to learn more about our volunteer program and what opportunities are available. Officials will be accepting applications for new volunteers.

The entrance fee for Newton Stewart State Recreation Area, Patoka Reservoir, located north of Wickliffe Indiana, Highway 164 will be waived for all who plan to apply as volunteers.
