Lane Closures Begin September 3 on State Road 37 Between Dillman Road and I-69

(MONROE CO.) – INDOT contractor E&B Paving Inc. will close the left lanes of State Road 37 in both north and southbound directions on or after Tuesday, September 3, weather permitting, to begin pavement removal and concrete patching as part of a nearly $2 million resurfacing project from Dillman Road to I-69 south of Bloomington.

All traffic will be restricted to the right driving lanes in both directions of State Road 37 while work is completed in the passing lanes. The Victor Pike crossover will also be closed during this phase, which is expected to be completed by Friday, September 16.

Upon completion of work in the passing lanes, traffic will move to the left lane and work will begin in the driving lanes. The Victor Pike crossover will reopen at that time.

Motorists are urged to slow down and use caution in and near the work zone. The entire project is expected to be completed by October 15, 2019.
