Hendley Diamond Jr., 68, of Shoals, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at IU Health University Hospital, Indianapolis.
Born February 9, 1951, in Whitesburg, KY, he was the son of Hendley Sr. and Mallie (Amburgey) Diamond. He married Sherry Sheetz and she survives. Hendley worked as a contractor.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry, of Shoals, two daughters, Julie Pemberton and Amy Gaines; two sons, Jack (Marilyn) Carrico and Brian (Lisa) Carrico; seven grandchildren, Bradley (Hannah) Carrico, Heath Wright, Travis (Elizabeth) Carrico, Andrew Carrico and fiancé Gabbie Ransom, Melissa Carrico and fiancé Gordon Dixon, Emma Pemberton, Taylor Gaines; great-granddaughter, Katelyn Wright; siblings, John B. Diamond, of Loogootee, Donna Shelley, of Shoals, Alan Clay Diamond, of Trinity Springs, Liz Shelton, of Arizona, and Tony Diamond, of Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; step-son; and thirteen siblings.
Celebration of life will be held at the River Shelter House on September 21, 2019.
