Online Survey to Gather Opinions on Fair Oaks Mall Project

(COLUMBUS) – The city of Columbus is offering an online survey to get the public’s opinion on the future development of the Fair Oaks Mall site.

The city of Columbus along with help from Columbus Regional Health and Heritage Fund bought the mall property at the end of last year.

The focus of the project is to create a master plan for Fair Oaks Mall to transform into a community destination for recreation, wellness and fun; provide a land-use strategy for the study area;  to connect via better trails and outdoor amenities, and to create a plan for an optimized Donner Center and Park.

The corporation set up by the city to oversee the mall operations has hired a consultant to develop a master plan for the property.

This process has a six-month schedule concluding at the end of 2019.  The end result will be a Master Plan designed to be implemented over the next several years.

The online survey is 16 questions an estimated to take 5 minutes to complete.
