(BEDFORD) – Tonight the 2020 Lawrence County Budget Hearings begin at 6 p.m. with the non-binding reviews.
The all funds 2019 appropriated budget was $23,869,639. The 2020 estimated budget is $2,980,856.
The County General 2019 appropriated budget was $14,004,008. The estimated 2020 general budget is $15,532,093.
All hearings will take place in the commissioners’ room of the Lawrence County Courthouse.
The adoption of the Solid Waste Budget will be on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 6 p.m.
The final run-through for the 2020 budget will be on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 6 p.m.
The adoption of the 2020 budget will be after the regular County Council meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 24.
