Man Arrested After Robbing Teen at Gunpoint

(BLOOMINGTON) – Bloomington Police arrested a man Friday after he allegedly robbed a juvenile at gunpoint at Bloomington High School South.

Officers responded to the school at 5:30 a.m.

The teen told police 27-year-old Jermel Reason Jr. entered his car without permission. The teen and Reason had got into an altercation earlier over an alleged vehicle accident.

The teen says after Reason entered the car, he pulled a gun and took the teen’s wallet, cash and debit card.

The teen was not injured during the robbery.

Police located Reason and arrested him on charges of robbery and unauthorized entry into a vehicle.Â
