Arts Commission Promotes Eckert to Director of Marketing and Communications

(INDIANAPOLIS) – The Indiana Arts Commission (IAC) announced today the promotion of Bridget Eckert to Director of Marketing and Communications.

Bridget joined the Arts Commission five years ago as a Governor’s Public Service Summer Intern. In 2016 she was hired full-time as the Communications and Community Engagement Manager. In that role, she managed social media, program promotion, and content development to tell the story of the arts in Indiana. Bridget has also been a key team player in partnerships with the office of the Lieutenant Governor and Mental Health America of Indiana.

In her new role, Bridget will be responsible for planning and implementing communications strategies, supervising the agency’s social media presence, and collaborating with program staff on approaches for the agency to serve as a resource for communities.

Bridget graduated from Herron School of Art and Design in 2016 with a BFA in visual communication design.
