(WESTFIELD) – It seems to be more serious than the Indianapolis Colts led on.
Andrew Luck is likely to miss the entire preseason with a high ankle injury, not a calf injury as was first reported by the Colts front office.
Colts owner Jim Irsay spilled the beans about the ankle injury on a podcast last week. General manager Chris Ballard confirmed it in a conference call Tuesday.
Ballard was unable to say in a conference call yesterday if Luck would be ready for Week 1 of the regular season, which is just over three weeks away.
