Officers, First Responders Save Washington Man’s Life

(WASHINGTON) – The fast action of a Washington Police officer and first responders saved the life of a man after he overdosed.

Emergency crews rushed to Family Video on Saturday, Aug. 3 after a report a 21-year-old male had overdosed.

Police say if it weren’t for the fast reactions of Washington Police officer Waggoner and other first responders the young man would have died.

Detectives obtained a search warrant for the residence of 45-year-old David Stoll.

On Tuesday, officers with the Washington Police Department, Emergency Response Team and the DEA Task Force executed the warrant.

Officers found meth, syringes, and other items.

Police arrested:

David Stoll 45, of Washington, on charges of possession of meth, maintaining a common nuisance, and unlawful possession of a syringe.

Shane Conner, 46, of Vincennes, on a charge of visiting a common nuisance.

Claudia Hopkins 19, of Washington, on a charge of visiting a common nuisance.
