Fort Wayne Credit Union Robbed Second Time in Less than One Week

(FORT WAYNE) – A bank in Fort Wayne was robbed for the second time in less than a week.

Fort Wayne police were called Tuesday around 5 p.m. to the 3Rivers Federal Credit Union off St. Joe Center Road, on a report of a robbery.

WANE-TV says officers caught the suspect less than an hour later, on U.S. 24 near the Ohio state line, and arrested him.

The same bank had been robbed last Thursday. Police believe the suspect they caught Tuesday was the same man wanted for last week’s robbery.
