(SWITZ CITY) – A Switz City home was destroyed by fire Saturday night.
According to Switz City Fire Chief Bryan Woodhall, no one was injured in the blaze.
At approximately 11:15 p.m. the department was dispatched to the home of David Knight at 6263 County Road 60 North.
The Switz City Fire Department received assistance from Linton, Lyons and Worthington Fire Departments.
According to Woodhall, the owner had insurance and did not request assistance from the American Red Cross, who also responded.
The cause of the fire was determined electrical in nature.
