  • 7:28 a.m. Alarm sounding at White River Co-Op
  • 7:29 a.m. Medical emergency in the 340 block of Huron Pike Road. A person was having 74-year-old is having trouble breathing
  • 7:43 a.m. Follow up investigation in the 170 block of Mundell Estates
  • 8:19 a.m. Medical emergency in the 1220 block of Elm Park Drive. A person fell on the sidewalk
  • 8:23 a.m. Request for a welfare check in the 80 block of Popcorn Road on a male staying in a trap tent behind the gym. The male is going to the Gathering of the Juggalos event and was not able to camp at the actual site until Wednesday
  • 9:02 a.m. Request for a welfare check in the 6220 block of Sand Pit Road on a possible suicidal male. The male left the home in a black Ranger at a high rate of speed. Officers are attempting to stop the vehicle. The male was stopped on Mitchell Road and was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for a medical evaluation
  • 9:42 a.m. Request for animal control in the 1760 block of Hayes Road. A dog has attacked his dogs twice last night
  • 10:13 a.m. Controlled fire in the 3600 block of State Road 60 East
  • 10:19 a.m. Medical emergency in the 1140 block of Camelot Court. An 85-year-old fell
  • 11:14 a.m. Controlled fire in the 980 block of Porter Burton Road
  • 11:36 a.m. Unwanted person in the 60 block of Brick Street in Springville. The male has been hanging around and pitched a tent behind the old gym. He is waiting for the Juggalo event to begin
  • 11:41 a.m. Trespassing at Camel Barn Road and Moore Lane in Springville. People attending the Gathering of the Juggalos are camping on the property and walking around the roadway and using the restroom in the field. The owner does not want them on his property
  • 12:11 p.m. Traffic stop at Teke Burton Drive and Orchard Street. A citation was issued for speeding
  • 12:25 p.m. Disabled vehicle on State Road 37 at the Avoca light
  • 12:57 p.m. Officers made extra patrols in the 200 block of East Grissom Avenue. Someone had tried to break into the caller’s shed and home
  • 1 p.m. Medical emergency in the 340 block of Larry Tincher Lane. A 76-year-old woman was having trouble breathing and was confused
  • 1:08 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 320 block of West Warran Street
  • 1:13 p.m. Report of a fire in the 130 block of Tarry Park Lane in Mitchell. It is a possible roof or attic fire caused by a box fan. Marion VFD responded. Mitchell VFD was put on standby. Shawswick VFDs responded with tanker support
  • 1:26 p.m. Controlled fire in the 2110 block of State Road 60 East
  • 1:27 p.m. Medical emergency in the 440 block of Kings Ridge Road. A 78-year-old was suffering chest pains
  • 1:37 p.m. Protective order violation in the 2460 block of Meridian Road
  • 2:11 p.m. Burglary in the 2440 block of Harrodsburg Road. Someone kicked a hole in the back door and used a screwdriver to force the lock open
  • 2:36 p.m. St. Vincent Dunn Emergency Room personnel reported treating a female injured in a domestic fight that happened in Mitchell. Officers wet to the 1200 block of Woodville Road. The male had left in a vehicle. That vehicle was stopped on Woodville Road just off State Road 37 and the male was arrested. A police dog alerted to possible drugs in the vehicle
  • 2:45 p.m. Request for animal control to the 160 block of Treslar Street for two pit bulls running loose and the dogs chased them down the road
  • 2:49 p.m. Report of an illegal burn in the 810 block of Smith Avenue creating a large amount of smoke. Oolitic VFD responded and the person put out the fire
  • 3:20 p.m. Domestic fight in the 9710 block of State Road 37. There was a dispute between the caller and her adopted daughter
  • 3:24 p.m. Lift assist in the 140 block of Camelot Courts. An 85-year-old fell
  • 3:34 p.m. Warrant service in the 6020 block of State Road 60 West. A male was arrested and a search warrant was issued for the home
  • 4:01 p.m. Repossession in the 980 block of Salt Creek Run
  • 4:04 p.m. Controlled fire in the 880 block of North Street
  • 4:08 p.m. Request for animal control to check on two skinny dogs in the 2750 block of State Road 158
  • 4:54 p.m. Domestic fight in the 3970 block of Old State Road 37 at Briar Wood Apartments. A male and female are fighting in the parking lot inside of a dark grey Chevrolet car
  • 5 p.m. Countywide volunteer fire department weekly radio test
  • 5:01 p.m. Report someone shot out his window with a pellet rifle in the 100 block of West Warren Street
  • 5:17 p.m. Medical emergency in the 2100 block of Todd Lane.
  • 5:32 p.m. Report of erratic drivers on five motorcycles driving at a high-rate of speed northbound on State Road 37 at Art Gallery Road and passing vehicle on the shoulder
  • 5:39 p.m. Harassment in the 4410 block of Leesville Road. A female was receiving threats from a male soliciting sex from her. The female called back saying the male was at her house. A no trespass order was served
  • 5:56 p.m. Officers were out with a vehicle at Avoca Mini Mart
  • 6:03 p.m. Request for extra patrols in the 1550 block of Old Vincennes Road for small children playing in the roadway without supervision
  • 6:35 p.m. Medical emergency in the 80 block of Lawrenceport Road. An 84-year-old male was suffering a possible stroke
  • 6:41 p.m. Citizen assist at Sinclair gas station. A driver says a vehicle in front of him on State Road 37 keeps brake checking him and he pulled over in the gas station and the vehicle followed him and got out and is arguing with him
  • 6:50 p.m. Officers delivered a message to the 50 block of Lakeside Estates
  • 6:54 p.m. Domestic fight in the 2210 block of Sixth Street at Compton Apartments
  • 7:11 p.m. Report a male accidentally shot himself in the foot in the 740 block of Curry Street in Mitchell. StatFlight was alerted. The male was taken to the University of Louisville Hospital for treatment
  • 7:26 p.m. Controlled fire in the 3100 block of Rager Road
  • 7:28 p.m. Traffic stop in the 600 block of Fayetteville Coxton Road
  • 7:43 p.m. Traffic stop at Rabbitsville and Wade roads

  • 9:18 p.m. Citizen assist in the 4280 block of Leesville Road. A 16-year-old says his father kicked him out of the home due to him misbehaving. The father is intoxicated and this happens on a regular basis
  • 9:23 p.m. Juvenile problem in the 1740 block of Wesley Chapel Road. A 17-year-old female juvenile was out of control
  • 9:55 p.m. Request for a welfare check at Tunnelton and Denniston roads. A male was laying on the edge of the bank for three to four hours
  • 9:56 p.m. Alarm sounding at White River Co-Op
  • 10:16 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and South 9th Street
  • 11:17 p.m. Officers made extra patrols at 8th Street and Mississippi Avenue in Mitchell
