(LAWRENCE CO.) – Southern Indiana Center for Independent Living still has about 40 fans and 4 air conditioners available.
The air conditioners and fans are available for free to those who are age 65 and older and meet certain eligibility requirements.
This program was made possible through a grant, the Margie Pennington Fund, submitted through the Lawrence County Community Foundation.
This year the funding supported the ability to give away 15 air conditioners and 50 fans.
SICIL received a $4,000 grant to purchase the air conditioners and fans.
