(JEFFERSONVILLE,) – A CBD manufacturing plant could be setting up shop here in Indiana.
Layn USA, a CBD maker based out of California, has begun looking into the possibility of opening a plant at the River Ridge Commerce Center in Jeffersonville.
The facility would cost about 52-million-dollars to build and would be able to process some 5-thousand tons of hemp each year into CBD products, such as CBD oil.
It’s not clear yet how many jobs the project would create, but One Southern Indiana says Layn is also considering Colorado and Kentucky for the plant.
