  • 8:50 a.m. Request for animal control to the 2810 block of Stonington Road for a stray cat

  • 9:27 a.m. Traffic stop at East Oolitic Road and Denson Street
  • 9:52 a.m. A resident in the 30 block of Poplar View Lane reported a male door-to-door salesman tried to enter her home
  • 10:04 a.m. Report that a 17-year-old female riding a moped crashed into a semi in the parking lot. She was not hurt and there was no damage. (The location was not noted on the log)
  • 10:04 a.m. Request for extra patrols in the 2410 block of Guthrie Road during the night because someone knocked on the caller’s door
  • 11:59 a.m. A male reported he just purchased a home in the 20 block of Plum Street and found tools, a lawnmower, and other items left at the home
  • 12:02 p.m. A woman was at the Mitchell Police Department to turn in an Indiana ID card she found on Main Street behind the Church of Christ recreation center near the storage units
  • 12:16 p.m. Report of a basket sitting on the sidewalk in front of the Oolitic school with a blanket over it

  • 1:16 p.m. Report of trespassing in the 870 block of Davey Cox Road. A male is on station requesting to speak to an officer about his son coming to the property and causing issues

  • 11:13 p.m. Report of a suspicious male in a black Ford F-150 selling children’s books in the 5770 block of Benham Lane

  • 1:01 p.m. Accident with injuries at Old State Road 37 at Mr. C’s. A vehicle ran off the road and hit a tree on the driver’s side. Statflight was alerted
  • 6:10 p.m. Property damage accident on State Road 37 at Patton Hill Road. A vehicle struck a mailbox
